Cynthia Pelley, D.M.D.Dental BackgroundDr. Cynthia Pelley has been a long-term Oregon native. Advanced training as a pedodontist balances Dr. Cynthia's passion for the care of children with the science and artistry of dentistry. Dr. Cynthia began her care for the health of babies, children, and adolescents through 12 years of nursing, including working in the pediatric ICU. This early training gives Dr. Cynthia the unique ability to see how the child's whole body influences overall oral health.
Dental EducationDr. Cynthia continued her education and received a Bachelors in Arts and Science with a focus on biology from Portland State University. After graduation, she was awarded membership in the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi for academic excellence. After graduating with her D.M.D from OHSU, she continued her child focused dental training in the Pediatric Dental Residency Program at OHSU. In her final year, she was chosen to be Chief Resident by the Program Director. Dr. Pelley then took the National Pediatric Dental Board Exam and became certified as a Diplomat in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Pelley has hospital privileges at Kaiser, Legacy, and Providence locations.
