If you want your child to have fun while brushing and flossing, then you need to make sure that you set a good example, and try and change things up again.
This way, there is an air of fun in the process, and it allows your child to stay on top of their oral health.
How You Can Make Brushing and Flossing a Bit More Fun
First, you can increase the fun of the activities of brushing and flossing by doing them with your child. Doing it on their own is boring simply because it's being done solo. Instead, make it a group activity. This increases how much time is spent doing it, too.Second, see if you can make the time pass in a fun way. Play a song that's the right length of time (two minutes) and dance while brushing. Just make sure to be careful so you don't hurt yourselves while you brush and dance.
Finally, you can make a game out of brushing. Now and again, ask your pediatric dentist about getting some of the pills that point out left behind plaque and debris on the teeth. Brush, chew on those pills, and compare your mouth to theirs. Whoever did a better job brushing and flossing gets to pick out the night's story, the next movie, or maybe even the next family dessert.
You can make brushing and flossing more fun, but you need to think about how you should do it. You know your child best. Appeal to whatever sense of fun you think they'd relate to best!
