Meet the Doctor

Pediatric Dentist Cynthia Pelley, DMD

Dr Pelley grew up in Minnesota and moved to Portland at the age of 18. She began her education in health care by earning a degree in Nursing Science in 1992. Over the next 12 years Dr. Pelley worked as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, the Intensive Care Unit, and the ER. Dr. Pelley then continued her health care education by earning a bachelor of Arts in Biology from Portland State University going on to obtain her DMD from Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry After working as a general dentist, Dr. Pelley rediscovered her love of working with children. She completed her training in pediatric dentistry after a two-year pediatric dental residency program at OHSU. She holds a Diplomat Certificate in Pediatric dentistry.

Dr Pelley and her husband Michael have a three and a half year old daughter named Sophia and a three-year-old son, Ronan. Dr. Pelley's love of the outdoors allows her to enjoy all of what Portland has to offer. She can be often found running in the rain in Forest Park, or hiking and camping with her family.
